Pickle me pink!

As we start winding down our trip, we have another transit day today to Nagoya. Before we left, we had one last meal to have in Kyoto, and for pickle lovers, this was the dream meal. This was at Akoyachaya, and there was quite the waitlist by the time we showed up, about 20 groups, but well worth the wait.

Along the way, we stumbled across the Ukiyoe Small Museum, run by Ichimura Mamoru, a very talented gentleman who does woodblock printing.

It was fun to see the different architecture both in Kyoto and Nagoya today.

Dinner for us was at Sweets Paradise, a buffet place, that was OK. They had curry, soups, and an entire dessert area for the grabbing…it was all just okay.

To bed and trekking around Nagoya tomorrow. Good night!
