We started our morning immediately dealing with hopping on the train to Takayama. This was by far the most scenic train trip I’ve taken (in the very limited amount of trains I have taken in my life).
After we got settled at our last ryokan, Ryokan Murayama, we headed up for the Hida Folk Village. This is a created village to show how life was up in this area years ago.

As you know from my past posts, ryokan means tasty meals, and this one does not disappoint!

Tomorrow brings us to our last stop on this trip, Toyama, and with it, the hope of our boat tour working out. Sadly in the home stretch now of our trip. Thanks for reading and good night! I leave you with some art from the dining room here at the ryokan.

We will miss the blooms by a few days…
